Andrew Deacon
Consultant
Andrew Deacon has recently joined Earl and Crocker
as a Consultant. He was educated at Liskeard
Secondary School and qualified as a Fellow of the
Institute of Legal Executives in 1975. He was
admitted as a Solicitor in 1981 and specialised in
both matrimonial and property law, as well as having
general experience in both civil and criminal
litigation.
Andrew is currently the Clerk to Liskeard Town
Council and also sits as a Deputy District Judge on
the Western Circuit, a position he has held since
1989. He is also past President of Cornwall Law
Society and is currently a member of the Committee
as Press Officer to the Society.
Andrew is also a member of the Advisory Board to the
Law Faculty of Plymouth University and an Advisor to
the Law Faculty at Cornwall University. He also sits
as an Advisor on the Board for Sterts Theatre
Company.
Andrew will offer a wealth of experience to the firm
and is a respected member of the local community.
His interests are golf, shooting, fishing, theatre
and books. He is also an armchair rugby and cricket
supporter.
